Purchasing Requirements:

• Valid Driver’s License or State-Issued Photo Identification
• Cannot Be Expired
• Must Contain Correct/Current Home Address
• Military Members May Use PCS Orders w/ Home State License
• Pass the Federal Background Check
• Be of Legal Purchasing Age

If you are not a resident of Delaware, all handguns, receivers, pistol-grip only shotguns and “other firearms” must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee (FFL) in your state of residence.

Shotguns, rifles and muzzle loaders can be purchased by non-residents as long as they are legal in your state of residence.

Shotguns & Muzzle Loaders: 18 Years of Age

Rifles: 21 Years of Age (Unless DE CCDW Permit Holder or Military/LEO - Then 18 Years of Age)

Handguns, Receivers, Pistol Grip Only Shotguns & “Other Firearms”: 21 Years of Age

In order to purchase a firearm, you must complete a Federal Background Check by completing the ATF Form 4473. This form will be completed once you have selected a firearm and are ready to make the purchase. The form must be filled out in store.

We will receive one of three responses:

• Proceed: You can purchase the firearm that day.
• Denied: You may not purchase the firearm however, we can provide you with documentation to submit an appeal.
• Delayed: We cannot transfer the firearm to you until we receive a "proceed" from NICS.  However, according to Delaware law, once 25 days have passed, without confirmation from NICS, we can then transfer the firearm. If you are purchasing a shotgun or have a DE CCDW permit, we can transfer it on the “Brady Date” (five days). If you are delayed, we require a deposit of one third the price of the firearm to hold it for you.

If you cancel a layaway or your background check is denied after a layaway is started or if you do not pay your layaway off in time, you will lose all funds paid and the item will go back up for sale. Layaways must be completed within 30 days. Layaways may be extended on a case-by-case basis upon request.

Person to Person Transfer: A $20 fee is required to perform a background check

(regardless of the outcome). Both parties must be present to perform the transfer. If the purchaser is delayed, the owner of the firearm will keep possession of the firearm. Once the

intended purchaser has received a "proceed" status, both parties must return to the store (at the same time) to complete the transfer.

Dealer to Dealer Transfer:

• If we are receiving a firearm, the fee is $20.

If you have a firearm transferred to us and you are denied, the buyer is responsible for payment of all fees. If the transfer cannot be completed (for any reason), the buyer is still responsible to pay the transfer fee(s). It is your responsibility to let us know how you would like to handle the firearm.

Options:

1. Send it back to where you purchased it (handling/shipping fees will apply). You must contact the seller to discuss their return policy.
2. Ask if we are interested in purchasing the firearm from you.
3. We will not transfer the gun to a friend/relative, as that is considered a straw purchase.
4. If you do not make arrangements within thirty (30) days of the denial date, we will place the firearm for sale and you forfeit ownership of the firearm.

Firearms may be put on layaway for 30 days with a down payment of 25%. A layaway may be extended on a case by case basis

 Returns are not accepted on firearms, leather products or sales/clearance items.

Used firearms are sold “as-is” and have no associated warranty.

If you’d like to place a firearm on consignment with us, we charge a 15% consignment fee. 

No cash will be paid out, all funds will be for in store credit.

If you purchase a scope/red dots/night sights from our store, we’ll mount it free of charge. Scopes/red dots/night sights brought to us for installation will incur a $50 charge.

A fifty percent (50%) deposit is required when placing a special order for a firearm. No refunds on special orders.

Customer orders:

If a customer ships us a firearm and we have not heard from them or had the firearm picked up within 30 days, the firearm will go out for sale and the customer will lose ownership of the firearm. Please reach out to us if you think it will be over 30 days for you to pick up your firearm.
